About House of Things

House of Things (hiot) is a self-hosted, local-first automation platform for homes and businesses. It runs on hardware you own, keeps working when the internet doesn't, and never sells or mines your data.

• Local-first. Automations and controls run on your network. The cloud is optional, never required.
