House of Things is built local-first: your device data lives on your own server. This policy explains what the hosted service itself collects when you use it.
To run your account we store your email, authentication details, the spaces and devices you create, and basic operational logs. Sensor history and device state live on the server you control.
Automations and controls run on your own hardware. We don't mine, sell, or share your device data, and the cloud is optional for the core system to keep working.
We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to run the site. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Subscriptions are handled by our payment processor. We don't store your full card details on our servers.
You can access, export, or delete your account data. To make a request, email privacy@iot.house.
